Admin. & Billing Assistant

Job Description

• Performs bookkeeping; handles bank deposits & reconciliations, accounts receivable & accounts payable.
• Prepare and disburse payments to vendors.
• Prepares payroll for employees.
• Answers phone for customer inquiries and orders.
• Maintains bookkeeping files.
• Maintains and installs accounting software and file backup.
• Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
• Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing, and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
• Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
• Coordinate schedules and appointments.
• Open, sort and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer service
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge in bookkeeping/accounting field
• Background in QuickBooks Desktop
• 
  

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

 Our trucking company is a hiring professional, experienced drivers to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this position needs a Class A (Air Brake Endorsement) Commercial Drivers License. This position will require our drivers to transport rolloff boxes, so the right candidate needs to possess a positive attitude when working with our customers, as well as maintaining alertness to stay safe while working. • Be in good physical health to climb loader when needed (required).
• Driving experience in Combination Truck Combo & Straight Trucks (required).
